SCHOOL TAX INFORMATION & RESTRICTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2020
Reminder - The Town of Irondequoit has implemented new policies for the payment of school taxes this year, which begins Tuesday, September 1st. Unless payments will be made in cash, the Town will not be allowing in-person payment. Residents can pay their school tax bill by:
- Paying online at www.monroecounty.gov. Monroe County will be waiving the 3% online processing fee
- Depositing payment in the secure drop-box located to the right of the parking lot entrance to Town Hall (1280 Titus Ave)
- Mailing a check to "Town of Irondequoit Receiver of Taxes, 1280 Titus Ave, Rochester NY 14617" or mailing a check to "Barbara Genier, Town of Irondequoit, C/O JP Morgan Chase Bank, Dept #117080 PO Box 5209 Binghamton NY 13902-5209"
Residents paying their bill with cash will be asked to check in and may have to wait until the next available staff member is able to process their payment. If you plan on paying in cash, please plan a little extra time, as we take measures to keep our residents safe during what is one of the busiest times of the year at Town Hall.
