The Youth Bureau promotes coordination and collaboration among youth service organizations for prevention and intervention programming. It strives to maximize effective utilization of community resources and services. It promotes positive youth development through the Healthy Communities – Healthy Youth initiative using the asset approach. It supports and facilitates a townwide youth council. The Youth Bureau has an advisory board, appointed by the Town Board, made up of youth, professionals, and community representatives to assess youth needs. |
