Proposed Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs)NOTE: Current Flood Insurance Rate Maps are not available electronically. They can be viewed at the Planning and Zoning office. |
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recently proposed revisions to the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) for all of Monroe County including the Town of Irondequoit. These new maps are preliminary but are more accurate than the current 1980’s vintage maps. Most of Irondequoit remains unaffected, however there are a number of changes throughout the Town.
