Annual Election of the Ridge-Culver Fire District on December 11, 2007  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Ridge-Culver Fire District will take place on December 11, 2007, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Ridge-Culver Firehouse located at 2960 Culver Road, Rochester, New York 14622 for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing on January 1, 2008, and ending on December 31, 2012. All duly registered residents of the Ridge-Culver Fire District shall be eligible to vote. Candidates for District Office shall file their names with the Secretary of the Ridge-Culver Fire District, Linda Brockmann, at 2960 Culver Road, Rochester, New York, 14622, no later than twenty days before the election, November 21, 2007.

Annual Election of the St. Paul Boulevard Fire District

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the annual election of the St. Paul Boulevard Fire District will take place on December 11, 2007 between the hours of 5:00PM and 9:00PM at the firehouse, located at 433 Cooper Road in the Town of Irondequoit, for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five year term commencing January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2012, and one Commissioner for a two year term commencing January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2009. All residents of the St. Paul Boulevard Fire District, who are duly registered with the Monroe County Board of Elections by November 19th, 2007, shall be eligible to vote.  Candidates who wish to have their names included on the ballot shall file a petition with the Secretary of the Fire District at 433 Cooper Road, Rochester, NY 14617, no later than November 21, 2007.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing on the Budget

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Laurelton Fire District of the Town of Irondequoit, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Laurelton Fire District, for its consideration.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Laurelton Fire House, 405 Empire Blvd Rochester NY 14609-4450, in the Town of Irondequoit, State of New York on the Sixteen day of October, 2007. 

Pursuant to Town Law §105, the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same. 

That a copy of the proposed budget is available after October 1st at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Irondequoit at 1280 Titus Ave Rochester NY 14622 and from the Fire District Treasurer at 405 Empire Blvd Rochester NY 14609 where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours 8 am to 4pm Monday thru Friday.

A public hearing will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Ridge-Culver Firehouse, 2960 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622, in the Town of Irondequoit, State of New York on the 16th day of October, 2007.
