Camp Eastman
This one-week program, presented by the Irondequoit Police Department, is open to youngsters in grades 6 through 11. (DARE graduates welcome regardless of age.) Camp members will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs and events that allow them see first hand the roles and responsibilities of law enforcement.
Camp hours:
Monday -- Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm
Topics of instruction:
In addition to these topics, camp members will participate in a variety of recreational events and field trips to other locations.
This program was developed to meet the needs of adolescents in our community and to provide them and their families an opportunity to interact with members of the Irondequoit Police Department in a very informal manner. The program also provides the Irondequoit Police Department an opportunity to educate citizens and increase the level of awareness about public safety issues in our community.
