Election Inspectors
Monroe County Board of Elections 

The Board of Elections is looking for individuals who would be interested in becoming elections inspectors for the 2009 election season.  The position will involve working at the election polls for the Primary Election held in September and General Election held in November.  All election inspectors are paid and trained by the Board of Elections.  Please contact the Board of Elections at 753-1550 to learn more about this wonderful opportunity to serve your community.

Part Time Dog Control Officer
Irondequoit Police Department 

Part-Time Dog Control Officer needed.  Town resident preferred.  Applicant must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid and clean New York State Class V Drivers License and have the ability to work independently.  Hours include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Starting Salary $11.00 per hour. Applications are available at the Irondequoit Town Hall located at 1280 Titus Avenue, Rochester, New York 14617.

Part time Clerk
Irondequoit Police Department

The Irondequoit Police Department is accepting applications for a part time Clerk, the hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm through 7:00 am. The position pays $10.00 per hour. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED. Duties include filing, answering phone calls & data entry. They will have interaction with the public and police officers.  Anyone that is interested should submit an application to the Human Resources Department.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will be accepting applications for summer employment (camp and playground counselors) from January 2 until May 1.  Must be a graduating senior; 18 years old or older.  Please bring the completed application in person (9:00am to 4:00 pm), or mail it, or put it in the drop box outside our office at 154 Pinegrove Avenue.
