FAQ - Police Department

1.   Where are you located?

The headquarters of the Irondequoit Police Department is in the Public Safety Building behind Town Hall. 

2.  How can I get a police report for myself?

With certain limitations, the Irondequoit Police Department can issue you a report if you were the victim or perpetrator of a crime.

3.   How can a get a police report about someone else?

You must file a Freedom of Information request with the Town Clerk.  (Please click here for a Request form.)  New York State law determines what, if any, information can be released.
