The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for maintaining Irondequoit’s public infrastructure, which includes a network of arterial and residential streets and sidewalks, and a storm and sanitary sewer system. The DPW is also responsible for the planning and execution of capital improvements to preserve and enhance this infrastructure with the ultimate objective of preserving property values and creating a safe and high-quality environment for Town residents and businesses.
