At each grade level the East Irondequoit Central School District is committed to providing every student with the best possible learning experience. The district offers full-day kindergarten and is working towards the goal of having all six of its schools authorized as International Baccalaureate World Schools. As of right now the two intermediate schools; Laurelton Pardee and Durand Eastman, as well as Eastridge High School, have achieved this distinction. Both primary schools, Ivan Green and Helendale Road along with East Irondequoit Middle School are in the candidacy phase. For more information on the International Baccalaureate Program please click here: http://www.ibo.org/

The IB program is just one example of the challenging and rewarding curriculum we offer in order to help our students succeed, especially once they are in high school. There is also a variety of Advanced Placement classes, Project Lead the Way- a pre-engineering program in conjunction with RIT, dual credit courses through MCC and many other opportunities to prepare our graduates for whatever path they choose after high school.

The district also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities including awarding winning arts and music programs and championship athletic teams. A recently completed capital improvement project means our students have some of the most state of the art facilities in the area.
