The Town of Irondequoit is pleased to announce that the Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge (IBOB) Access Alternatives Study is underway. This study will explore options to provide year-round access across the Bay Outlet and assess whether any reasonable design solutions can provide year-round access to all travelers (vehicles, bikes, pedestrians and boats) while preserving the Irondequoit Bay’s ability to serve as a Safe Harbor.

October 3, 2017

The Town held its second Public Information Meeting with Fisher Associates on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Irondequoit Town Hall to provide a preliminary synopsis of the planning process to date and discuss the five alternatives being evaluated for feasibility. The meeting also included a review of the preliminary analysis of the alternatives.

Feedback at this public meeting will further help with the development of the final recommendation(s) advanced through the study.

The Town held a Public Information Meeting with Fisher Associates on Wednesday, April 12 to talk about the planning process, the existing conditions analysis, and next steps associated with the study of potential year-round access.
